Let Love Show
“I was determined to carve out a music of my own, I didn't want to copy anybody.”
— Bill Monroe
Headed by GRAMMY® nominated producer and engineer, Matt Munsey, Monroeville is a band of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists from diverse musical backgrounds. From their inception, Monroeville made a conscious effort to create original music featuring the technical and clean musicianship of Bluegrass while incorporating different genres to create a sound all their own.
Within four years, Monroeville had recorded two full projects, had several singles and music videos featured on CMT.com and VEVO, had performed at many of the acoustic music industry's most coveted venues and events, had singles played world wide, and had achieved several honors including the International Bluegrass Music Association's newest award title, The 2012 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year.
In their now 7th year, Monroeville is still a creative force - ever experimenting while maintaining their unique sound and style. Inspired by their hero, Bill Monroe who created a style all his own, their original compositions and stage shows can be compared to groups like The Band, Kansas, Boston, Kansas, Rush, Eagles and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. They have an organic approach to creativity that, while having a polished sound of a tight band, still allows for unique live show experiences with improvisations between band members that excites fans, and further propels each band member to constantly create.
For their third full project, Monroeville set out to create a product that would influence an exciting, and technical live stage show incorporating original material with traditional style Bluegrass, and focusing on the use of Acoustic instruments intertwined with electric sounds. After taking two years to truly develop a unique musical journey in one project, it all came to fruition in 2016 in their newest project, WORLDS APART.
"Push On"- performed live in studio with a Juilliard string section in New York
"Gallarojo" - a Rock Acoustic Orchestra instrumental featuring string section by Aaron Malone
"Save Me" and "Let Love Show" both have music videos featured on VEVO
"Devil's Rope"- a live recording from their first project, and only found on the physical CD
Two "interlude" instrumentals only found on the physical CD
Monroeville has had some of brightest and talented young multi-instrumentalists and vocalists around featured as a part of their musical journey. Bluegrass is where they first started - a genre that focuses on the technical musicianship of each member. Monroeville's current members are masterful in their ability to play traditional Bluegrass with speed and accuracy, but their influences and styles range from Metal music to Classical, and from Rock, to Country, to Gospel.
Their original material spans the gamut of genres, but their newest project, as well as their live shows, seem to flow seamlessly between styles. Combined with their energetic performances and fun personalities, Monroeville has become one of the most recognized and emulated bands in the Acoustic industry - and now known across genre platforms around the world.
